QuestLevelReview is an independent site covering free strategy and role-playing games — the long-form kind, where a decision made in the first week still matters in the second month. Games like these are poorly served by reviews written after an afternoon, so we take our time instead.
How we test
At least two weeks per title, played the way anyone would play it: a couple of short visits a day rather than a marathon. We record how the pace changes once the introductory content ends, and where a free account starts to feel the friction.
What the rating weighs
- Depth of decisions — 30%. Is there something to think about, or only a schedule to keep?
- Progress without paying — 30%. How far does a free account actually get?
- Respect for your time — 25%. Session length, interruptions and the cost of missing a day.
- Community and support — 15%. Alliance tools, active players and how quickly support replies.
What we will not do
We do not take payment for a listing or a rating, we do not run affiliate arrangements with the studios we cover, and we never describe a game as a way to earn anything. These are entertainment products.
Links, not hosting
Every button in the chronicle opens the developer's own site. Nothing is hosted, embedded or streamed here, and we will never ask for your game account details.
Corrections
Long-running games change constantly. If an entry has fallen out of date, tell us through the contact form — corrections are made openly on the page rather than quietly removed.
